SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 115
BY SENATOR HEITMEIER 
A RESOLUTION
To commend and congratulate Amanda Scott Trapp on her earning a Master of Public
Administration from the Louisiana State University E. J. Ourso College of Business.
WHEREAS, it is with great pride that the citizens and the Senate of the Legislature
of Louisiana have learned of the extraordinary accomplishments of Amanda Trapp; and
WHEREAS, Amanda is a 2005 graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton,
Mississippi, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State
University in 2009; and 
WHEREAS, Amanda is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Alpha Alpha honor
societies; and
WHEREAS, in 2010, she was employed as a Social Services Analyst in the
Department of Children and Family Services, worked as a proofreader for the Louisiana
House of Representatives, and then as an executive assistant at Haynie and Associates; and 
WHEREAS, in 2012, Amanda joined the Louisiana Senate family as an operations
aide in the Documents and Records Office and currently serves as secretary to the Senate
Committee on Health and Welfare; and
WHEREAS, Amanda is an exemplary and highly admired citizen of Louisiana who
works tirelessly in a multitude of health, business, civic, political, and religious causes.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby congratulate Amanda Scott Trapp upon earning a Master of Public
Administration from the Louisiana State University E. J. Ourso College of Business and
commends her for her many contributions to the Senate and the people of Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Amanda Scott Trapp.
