Creates the Non-Flood Protection Asset Management Task Force to provide
recommendations on the membership of the Non-Flood Protection Asset Management
Authority. Provides that the task force shall consist of the following five members:
(1)One member of the Senate appointed by the president.
(2)One member of the House of Representatives appointed by the speaker.
(3)The legislative auditor, or his designee.
(4)One member appointed by the Urban League of Greater New Orleans.
(5) One member appointed by the mayor of the city of New Orleans from three names
submitted by the New Orleans City Council.
Requires the Non-Flood Protection Asset Management Task Force to hold its first meeting
no later than October 1, 2015, at the call of the legislative members.
Requires the Non-Flood Protection Asset Management Task Force to provide
recommendations on the membership of the Non-Flood Protection Asset Management
Authority to the legislature on or before February 1, 2016.
Requires the Non-Flood Protection Asset Management Task Force to terminate on
March 14, 2016.
