2015 Regular Session ENROLLED SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 87 BY SENATOR PERRY A RESOLUTION To commend Caroline Broussard of Abbeville upon being named a member of the Tiger Twelve Class of 2015 by the Louisiana State University Office of the Dean of Students. WHEREAS, the Tiger Twelve is an honor that has been presented to twelve seniors by the Office of the Dean of Students since 2003; and WHEREAS, students selected as members of the Tiger Twelve must be current, full-time students, who have maintained at least a 2.5 grade point average and best exemplify the seven tenets outlined in the LSU Commitment to Community, a statement of LSU's basic principles as an academic community; and WHEREAS, Caroline Broussard works as a captain of the LSU tour guides to introduce prospective students to the LSU campus; and WHEREAS, she is an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, the Greek Board of Directors and the PanHellenic Executive Council, where she managed the budget, handled disciplinary issues with members and mentored recruitment counselors; and WHEREAS, Caroline is a member of the Leadership LSU Class of 2015 and has served on the Division of Student Life and Enrollment Advisory Board for the last two years; and WHEREAS, she epitomizes the ideals set forth in the LSU Commitment to Community, excelled as a student, and is a true Tiger. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Caroline Broussard of Abbeville upon being named a member of the Tiger Twelve Class of 2015 by the Louisiana State University Office of the Dean of Students.
