SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 23

A RESOLUTION
To commend Eugene Dunn upon his retirement as the Caldwell Parish Clerk of Court.
WHEREAS, after more than thirty years of highly effective service, Eugene Dunn
has decided to retire as the clerk of court for Caldwell Parish; and
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1984, Eugene Dunn began his service as the clerk of court
for Caldwell Parish and will continue his service of excellence until he retires on June 30,
2016; and
WHEREAS, Eugene Dunn's service to the people of Caldwell Parish has been
exceptional; and
WHEREAS, Eugene Dunn has been blessed with his wife, Susan Hodges Dunn, his
three children, Courtney Dunn, Collin Dunn, and Curt Dunn, as well as his six
grandchildren, Graci, Blaise, Anisten, Blaiden, Mae, and Blayne, who have all shown
enduring support for his work as the clerk of court for Caldwell Parish.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Eugene Dunn upon his retirement as the Caldwell Parish Clerk of
Court.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Eugene Dunn.
