HOUSE BILL NO. 203

1	AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 48:2154(C)(1)(introductory paragraph) and to enact R.S.
3 48:2154(C)(1)(k), relative to the Central Louisiana Regional Infrastructure Beltway
4 Commission; to provide relative to the membership of the board of directors; and to
5 provide for related matters.
6	Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published
7	as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of
8	Louisiana.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
10 Section 1.  R.S. 48:2154(C)(1)(introductory paragraph) is hereby amended and
11 reenacted and R.S. 48:2154(C)(1)(k) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
12 ยง2154.  Central Louisiana Regional Infrastructure Beltway Commission; creation;
13	board of directors; meetings; quorum

15	C.(1)  The board shall be composed of fourteen fifteen directors who shall be
16 the governing body of the commission, with full power to promulgate rules and
17 regulations for the maintenance and operation of said the commission as follows:

19	(k)  The executive director of the Central Louisiana Regional Port or his
20 designee.

1 Section 2.  Any provision of the bylaws of the Central Louisiana Regional
2 Infrastructure Beltway Commission that is not consistent with the provisions of R.S. 48:2154
3 as amended by this Act is hereby declared null and void, including any such provision that
4 denies designees the right to vote at commission meetings.
