R.S. 37:1184(3)(k) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 ยง1184. Fees 8 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter, the fees and costs 9 established by the board in accordance with R.S. 37:1182(A) shall not be less than 10 the following schedule: 11 Minimum 12 * * * 13 (3)Licenses, permits, certification, registration, and 14 any other designations for pharmacy locations 15 * * * 16 (k)Application fee for new marijuana pharmacy permit$5,000.00 17 No current member of the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy or his immediate 18 family as defined in R.S. 42:1102(13) shall be eligible to apply for a new marijuana 19 permit. Present law establishes the schedule of minimum amounts for fees to be collected by the La. Board of Pharmacy. Proposed law retains present law and adds a new marijuana pharmacy permit application fee with a minimum amount of $5000. Proposed law prohibits a current member of the La. Board of Pharmacy or his immediate family from applying for a new marijuana permit. Further prohibits a person who was a member of the La. Board of Pharmacy or his immediate family from applying for a new marijuana permit within two years of the last day of his term on the board.
