APPROPRIATIONS/SUPPLEML: Provides for an appropriation to the account of the
Lafourche Parish School Board for Fiscal Year 2015-2016
1 AN ACT
2To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015-
3 2016 to the account of the Lafourche Parish School Board; to provide for an effective
4 date; and to provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Nine
7Hundred Twenty-One and 05/100 ($2,598,921.05) Dollars is hereby appropriated from the
8General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 and shall be credited to
9the account of the Lafourche Parish School Board to satisfy the obligation of the state
10pursuant to R.S. 41:642(A)(2) for oil and gas royalties attributable to Fiscal Years 2007-
112008, 2008-2009, and 2009-2010 relating to oil and gas production from Section 16, T21S,
12R21E, Lake Raccourci Field, parish of Lafourche, state of Louisiana.
13 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
14signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
15by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If
16vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
17effective on the day following such approval.
