R.S. 47:1507(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7 ยง1507. Authentication of secretary's records; fees for searching for documents 8 A. Authentication. Copies of any rule, decision, or order of the secretary, 9 and of any paper or report filed in any office maintained by him the office of the 10 secretary in the administration of this Subtitle, may be authenticated under his the 11 secretary's signature, and when so authenticated, shall be evidence in all state courts 12 of this state, with the same force and weight as the originals thereof original 13 document. Present law authorizes the secretary of the Dept. of Revenue to authenticate copies of rules, decisions, or orders filed in the secretary's office in the administration of present law under the secretary's signature. Further authorizes the secretary to charge a fee not to exceed $25 for authenticating records. Proposed law makes technical revisions to present law.
