R.S. 48:251(E) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 10 ยง251. Contracts for projects 11 * * * 12 E. Every contract of the department shall provide that all employees of the 13 department shall abide by the safety and environmental plan of a contractor while on 14 a job site. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, every contract of 15 the department shall provide that the contractor shall not be liable for injuries 16 sustained by any department employee while on a job site due to the employee's 17 failure to abide by the safety and environmental plan of a contractor.
