MEDICAID: Provides relative to the medical assistance program of the state
1 AN ACT
2To amend and reenact R.S. 46:460.52, relative to the medical assistance program of the state
3 commonly known as Medicaid; to provide relative to operation of the Medicaid
4 managed care program; to provide for technical corrections; and to provide for
5 related matters.
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 46:460.52 is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
8 ยง460.52. Exemptions
9 The provisions of this Part shall not apply to any entity contracted with the
10 Department of Health and Hospitals to provide fiscal intermediary services in
11 processing provider claims of the health care providers.
