HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 104

A RESOLUTION
To commend Frank, Jr., and Margie Coliston upon the celebration of their sixty-fifth
wedding anniversary.
WHEREAS, upon the celebration of their sixty-fifth wedding anniversary on
April 26, 2016, it is appropriate to recognize and commend Frank, Jr., and Margie Coliston;
and
WHEREAS, the couple married on April 26, 1951, and they are lifelong residents
of Claiborne Parish; and
WHEREAS, Frank and Margie share a host of accomplishments, but none have
produced a greater sense of pride than their seven children, twelve grandchildren, and
twenty-four great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, after twenty years of dedicated service, Margie retired from Con Agra,
and she later became a certified nursing assistant and worked for and ultimately retired from
Homer Memorial Hospital; and
WHEREAS, Frank spent his career serving the people of Claiborne Parish, working
for the Claiborne Parish Police Jury; and
WHEREAS, through their loving dedication to one another, Frank and Margie have
touched the lives of all who know and love them; and
WHEREAS, the sixty-fifth wedding anniversary of Frank, Jr., and Margie Coliston
is a joyous and memorable occasion that merits sincere and heartfelt congratulations.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Frank and Margie Coliston upon the
celebration of their sixty-fifth wedding anniversary and does hereby extend to the couple
best wishes for continued happiness in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Frank and Margie Coliston.
