COMMENDATIONS: Commends the 2016 North Baton Rouge Community Easter Parade
and recognizes its grand marshal, Deacon McHenry Jackson of Greater King David
Baptist Church
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend the 2016 North Baton Rouge Community Easter Parade and to recognize its
3 grand marshal, Deacon McHenry Jackson of Greater King David Baptist Church.
4 WHEREAS, for more than thirty years, churches in the North Baton Rouge
5Community have sponsored the North Baton Rouge Community Easter Parade; and
6 WHEREAS, many churches, businesses, bands, and special guests participate in this
7wonderful parade; and
8 WHEREAS, Greater King David Baptist Church will serve as the host church for the
92016 Easter Parade; and
10 WHEREAS, Deacon McHenry Jackson of Greater King David Baptist Church will
11serve as the grand marshal for the 2016 North Baton Rouge Community Easter Parade, to
12be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
13 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
14Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the 2016 North Baton Rouge Community
15Easter Parade and does hereby recognize its grand marshal, Deacon McHenry Jackson of
16Greater King David Baptist Church.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
18to Deacon McHenry Jackson of Greater King David Baptist Church.
