HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 16

A RESOLUTION
To commend the 2016 North Baton Rouge Community Easter Parade and to recognize its
grand marshal, Deacon McHenry Jackson of Greater King David Baptist Church.
WHEREAS, for more than thirty years, churches in the North Baton Rouge
Community have sponsored the North Baton Rouge Community Easter Parade; and
WHEREAS, many churches, businesses, bands, and special guests participate in this
wonderful parade; and
WHEREAS, Greater King David Baptist Church will serve as the host church for the
2016 Easter Parade; and
WHEREAS, Deacon McHenry Jackson of Greater King David Baptist Church will
serve as the grand marshal for the 2016 North Baton Rouge Community Easter Parade, to
be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the 2016 North Baton Rouge Community
Easter Parade and does hereby recognize its grand marshal, Deacon McHenry Jackson of
Greater King David Baptist Church.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Deacon McHenry Jackson of Greater King David Baptist Church.
