HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 59

A RESOLUTION
To commend Kenny Guillot on his induction into the Louisiana High School Sports Hall of
Fame.
WHEREAS, at a young age, Kenny Guillot knew he wanted to be a coach; and
WHEREAS, he was the football coach at Parkview Baptist High School; he led his
teams to four Class 3A state titles, and he held an impressive career record of 175-41; and
WHEREAS, he also served as the head coach at Woodlawn High School and was an
assistant coach for the Tara High School football team that won a state title in 1974; and
WHEREAS, Coach Guillot will always be respected and admired for the wonderful
guidance he gave to his players both on and off the field, as he challenged them to succeed
not only as athletes but as well-rounded human beings, and upon his induction into the
Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame, Coach Guillot merits a special measure of
commendation for his outstanding accomplishments.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Kenny Guillot on his induction into the
Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame; does hereby express to him sincere appreciation
for his exemplary leadership as a football coach; and does hereby extend to him best wishes
for continued success and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Kenny Guillot.
