HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 60

A RESOLUTION
To commend M.L. Woodruff on his induction into the Louisiana High School Sports Hall
of Fame.
WHEREAS, M.L. Woodruff was the baseball coach at Parkview Baptist High
School, and during his tenure in that position, Coach Woodruff led his teams to eleven state
championships and an impressive career record of 603-163-2; and
WHEREAS, Coach Woodruff's legacy will long be remembered by the countless
players he inspired on and off the field; and
WHEREAS, the House of Representatives wishes to recognize Coach Woodruff for
his well-deserved induction into the Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend M.L. Woodruff on his induction into the
Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame; does hereby express to him sincere appreciation
for his exemplary leadership as a baseball coach; and does hereby extend to him best wishes
for continued success and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to M.L. Woodruff.
