SLS 16RS-499 ORIGINAL 2016 Regular Session SENATE BILL NO. 191 BY SENATOR JOHNS ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. Prohibits establishments that sell certain alcoholic beverages from employing persons under twenty-one years of age for specified purposes. (8/1/16) 1 AN ACT 2 To enact R.S. 26:90(A)(17) and 286(A)(17), relative to the sale of alcoholic beverages; to 3 prohibit persons under the age of twenty-one from exposing themselves in alcoholic 4 beverage establishments; and to provide for related matters. 5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 6 Section 1. R.S. 26:90(A)(17) and 286(A)(17) are hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 §90. Acts prohibited on licensed premises; suspension or revocation of permits 8 A. No person holding a retail dealer's permit and no agent, associate, 9 employee, representative, or servant of any such person shall do or permit any of the 10 following acts to be done on or about the licensed premises: 11 * * * 12 (17) Employ anyone under the age of twenty-one to work, perform or 13 dance while clothed in a manner so as to expose the genitals, pubic hair, anus, 14 vulva, or female breast nipples below the areola in the licensed premises. 15 * * * 16 §286. DIGEST SB 191 Original 2016 Regular Session Johns Present law prohibits a person holding a retail dealer's permit and an agent, associate, employee, representative, or servant of the permittee from certain acts on or about the licensed premises. Proposed law retains present law and additionally prohibits the employment of anyone under the age of 21 to work, perform or dance while clothed in a manner so as to expose the genitals, pubic hair, anus, vulva, or female breast nipples below the areola in the licensed premises.
