A RESOLUTION
To amend and readopt House Rule 6.6(M)(20) and to adopt House Rule 6.6(G)(18) of the
Rules of Order of the House of Representatives to provide relative to standing
committee jurisdiction over matters regarding drinking water standards and water
resources.
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana
that House Rule 6.6(M)(20) of the Rules of Order of the House of Representatives is hereby
amended and readopted and that House Rule 6.6(G)(18) of the Rules of Order of the House
of Representatives is hereby adopted to read as follows:
Rule 6.6. Standing committee jurisdiction

G. Health and Welfare: To this committee shall be referred, in accordance
with the rules, all legislative instruments, messages, petitions, memorials and other
matters relating to the following subjects:

(18) Drinking water standards.

M. Natural Resources and Environment: To this committee shall be referred,
in accordance with the rules, all legislative instruments, messages, petitions,
memorials, and other matters relating to the following subjects:

(20) Laws regulating clean water, drinking water, and ground water resources.
