FUNDS/FUNDING:  Provides for the transfer, deposit, and use of monies among state funds
1	AN ACT
2To provide relative to special treasury funds; to provide for the transfer, deposits, and use
3 as specified of certain treasury funds; to provide for effectiveness; and to provide for
4 related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the state treasurer
7is hereby authorized and directed to transfer $25,000,000 into the Budget Stabilization Fund
8from the state general fund.
9 Section 2.  Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the state treasurer
10is hereby authorized and directed to transfer $7,582,927 into the Self-Insurance Fund from
11the Future Medical Care Fund.
12 Section 3.  Sections 1, 3, and 4 of this Act shall become effective upon signature of
13this Act by the governor or, if not signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for
14bills to become law without signature by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section
1518 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
16 Section 4.  Section 2 of this Act shall become effective on July 1, 2017.
