Assisted Living Association Day at the state capitol
1 A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
2To commend Louisiana Assisted Living Association for its achievements and to designate
3 Tuesday, May 23, 2017, as Louisiana Assisted Living Association Day at the state
4 capitol.
5 WHEREAS, the Louisiana Assisted Living Association (LALA) was founded in
61999; and
7 WHEREAS, LALA has expanded and grown to become a primary voice for assisted
8living, adult residential care, and independent living communities across the state; and
9 WHEREAS, the members of LALA are committed to holding the senior living
10industry to high standards while enhancing quality of life for each community resident and
11senior served across the state; and
12 WHEREAS, the men and women of LALA have made a difference in communities
13throughout the state; and
14 WHEREAS, LALA is sponsoring its annual Legislative Day at the state capitol on
15Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
16 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
17commend the members of the Louisiana Assisted Living Association for their achievements
18and does hereby designate Tuesday, May 23, 2017, as Louisiana Assisted Living Association
19Day at the state capitol.

1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of the Louisiana Assisted Living
2Association are hereby commended for their commitment to community service and public
3health, their achievements, and their quest for excellence in all public endeavors.
4 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
5to the president of the Louisiana Assisted Living Association.
