HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOL UTION NO. 85

A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
To commend Louisiana Assisted Living Association for its achievements and to designate
Tuesday, May 23, 2017, as Louisiana Assisted Living Association Day at the state
capitol.
WHEREAS, the Louisiana Assisted Living Association (LALA) was founded in
1999; and
WHEREAS, LALA has expanded and grown to become a primary voice for assisted
living, adult residential care, and independent living communities across the state; and
WHEREAS, the members of LALA are committed to holding the senior living
industry to high standards while enhancing quality of life for each community resident and
senior served across the state; and
WHEREAS, the men and women of LALA have made a difference in communities
throughout the state; and
WHEREAS, LALA is sponsoring its annual Legislative Day at the state capitol on
Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
commend the members of the Louisiana Assisted Living Association for their achievements
and does hereby designate Tuesday, May 23, 2017, as Louisiana Assisted Living Association
Day at the state capitol.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of the Louisiana Assisted Living
Association are hereby commended for their commitment to community service and public
health, their achievements, and their quest for excellence in all public endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to the president of the Louisiana Assisted Living Association.
