COMMENDATIONS: Commends Brittany Arbor Shipp on being named Mrs. Louisiana
America of Baton Rouge
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Brittany Arbor Shipp on being named Mrs. Louisiana America.
3 WHEREAS, Brittany Arbor Shipp has proudly reigned as Mrs. Louisiana America,
42016-2017, and in so doing has showcased her beauty, grace, and intelligence and has served
5as a role model for married women all across the great state of Louisiana; and
6 WHEREAS, Mrs. Shipp represented Louisiana at the national level, competing in the
7foremost pageant competition for married women in the United States; and
8 WHEREAS, as a wife and mother, Mrs. Shipp has worn her crown with dignity and
9has thus served as an inspiring role model for Louisiana wives and mothers; and
10 WHEREAS, Mrs. Shipp has made numerous personal appearances around the state
11serving as a goodwill ambassador, mentor, and advocate of various worthy causes; and
12 WHEREAS, Mrs. Shipp has had the opportunity to give back to her community by
13promoting her platforms, Bella Bowman Foundation and Victoria's Voice Foundation; and
14 WHEREAS, she has helped make a difference in people's lives by empowering
15others to pursue lifestyles that incorporate health and fitness; and
16 WHEREAS, during her exciting and memorable reign, Mrs. Shipp has been able to
17enjoy a once in a lifetime experience by appearing in a print advertisement for Robert Roth
18Jewelry, which was featured in 225 Magazine, and in advertisements for local restaurants.
19 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
20Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Ms. Brittany Arbor Shipp on being named
21Mrs. Louisiana America of Baton Rouge.
