HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 12
BY REPRESENTATIVE JAMES
A RESOLUTION
To commend Brittany Arbor Shipp on being named Mrs. Louisiana America.
WHEREAS, Brittany Arbor Shipp has proudly reigned as Mrs. Louisiana America,
2016-2017, and in so doing has showcased her beauty, grace, and intelligence and has served
as a role model for married women all across the great state of Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Shipp represented Louisiana at the national level, competing in the
foremost pageant competition for married women in the United States; and
WHEREAS, as a wife and mother, Mrs. Shipp has worn her crown with dignity and
has thus served as an inspiring role model for Louisiana wives and mothers; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Shipp has made numerous personal appearances around the state
serving as a goodwill ambassador, mentor, and advocate of various worthy causes; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Shipp has had the opportunity to give back to her community by
promoting her platforms, Bella Bowman Foundation and Victoria's Voice Foundation; and
WHEREAS, she has helped make a difference in people's lives by empowering
others to pursue lifestyles that incorporate health and fitness; and
WHEREAS, during her exciting and memorable reign, Mrs. Shipp has been able to
enjoy a once in a lifetime experience by appearing in a print advertisement for Robert Roth
Jewelry, which was featured in 225 Magazine, and in advertisements for local restaurants.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Mrs. Brittany Arbor Shipp on being named
Mrs. Louisiana America of Baton Rouge.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Mrs. Brittany Arbor Shipp.
