ACT 178 (SB 5) 2017 Regular Session Luneau
Prior law authorized the Rapides Parish governing authority to pay a per diem to each
member of the board of supervisors of Sewerage District No. 1 an amount not to exceed $150
for each day of attendance at a board meeting up to and including 24 days each year. Further,
prior law authorized a per diem payment for up to 12 emergency meetings each year.
New law retains prior law and adds authority for the parish governing authority to pay the
identical per diem to each member of the board of supervisors of Sewerage District No. 2.
Effective August 1, 2017.
