SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 110
BY SENATOR BISHOP 
A RESOLUTION
To commend Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, and St. Bernard parish chapters of Alliance
for Good Government and to recognize May 24, 2017, as "Alliance for Good
Government Day" at the Louisiana State Capitol.
WHEREAS, the Alliance for Good Government was formed to foster, protect, and
promote the welfare and interest of the citizens of the state of Louisiana by bringing together
thinking citizens into an organization; and 
WHEREAS, a focus of the Alliance for Good Government is to promote public
policies which benefit the New Orleans Metropolitan area, the state of Louisiana, and the
United States of America; and
WHEREAS, the purpose is also to research and inform the public on any issues that
relate to taxes, bonds, amendments, candidates, etc.; and 
WHEREAS, the Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, and St. Bernard parish chapters
of the Alliance for Good Government have designated May 24, 2017, as Alliance for Good
Government Day at the Louisiana State Capitol to address issues that directly impact their
members and the communities that the Alliance for Good Government serves. 
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend the Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, and St. Bernard parish chapters
of the Alliance for Good Government and does hereby recognize May 24, 2017, as "Alliance
for Good Government Day" at the Louisiana State Capitol.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to each
chapter president.
