1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:2405(J)(3), relative to revocation of P.O.S.T. certification;
3 to require hearing notices to be provided to peace officers; and to provide for related
4 matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 40:2405(J)(3) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:

11 (3)(a) Any hearings hearing conducted by the council or appeal by an officer
12 whose certification has been revoked shall be conducted according to rules
13 promulgated by the council.
14 (b) Notice of a revocation hearing shall be provided to all officers involved
15 at least thirty days prior to the hearing date.
