1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 14:95.1.1(B), relative to the crime of illegally supplying a felon
3 with a firearm; to add the possibility of hard labor to the criminal sentence; and to
4 provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 14:95.1.1(B) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 ยง95.1.1. Illegally supplying a felon with a firearm

9 B. Whoever commits the crime of illegally supplying a felon with a firearm
10 shall be imprisoned with or without hard labor for not more than five years and may
11 be fined not less than one thousand dollars nor more than five thousand dollars. At
12 least one year of the sentence imposed shall be served without benefit of parole,
13 probation, or suspension of sentence.
