SENATE BILL NO. 104

COMMERCIAL REGULATIONS.  Provides relative to certain manufacturers of marine
products. (8/1/18)
1	AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 32:1254(P), relative to marine products; to provide for a licensing exception
3 for certain manufacturers of marine products; to provide for certain terms and
4 conditions; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 32:1254(P) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง1254. Application for license; requirements for licensure; contents; licenses;
8	franchise filings; exceptions

10	P.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, this
11 Chapter shall not apply to a manufacturer of marine products who sells
12 exclusively to federal, state, or local government agencies or to nonresident
13 customers.
