FISH/FISHING.  Reduces the crappie daily take limit from fifty to twenty-five on Sibley
Lake. (8/1/18)
1	AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 56:325(A)(5), relative to the daily take of freshwater recreational
3 fish; to reduce the crappie daily take limit from fifty to twenty-five on Sibley Lake;
4 to provide for terms, conditions, and requirements; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 56:325(A)(5) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 
7 ยง325. Daily take, possession, and size limits; freshwater recreational fish; possession
8	of finfish filets prohibited
9	A. No person shall take in any one day more than the following of each
10 species of fish, of the designated size where specified:

12	(5)(a) Crappie (Pomoxis spp.), or their hybrids, also locally called white
13 perch or sac-a-lait--fifty.
14	(b) The daily take for crappie, or their hybrids, caught in Sibley Lake on
15 a recreational license shall be twenty-five fish.

Proposed law retains present law except for Sibley Lake where the daily take limit for
crappie is reduced to 25 fish.
