(8/1/18) 1 AN ACT 2 To enacted R.S. 37:1285(J), relative to investigations by the Louisiana State Board of 3 Medical Examiners; to provide for suspension, revocation, or imposition of 4 restrictions; to provide for commencement of disciplinary actions; and to provide for 5 related matters. 6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. R.S. 37:1285(J) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 8 ยง1285. No disciplinary proceeding provided for in this Section shall 12 commence prior to a complaint being submitted to the board in accordance with 13 R.S. 37:1285.2. Proposed law provides that no proceeding for disciplinary action may commence prior to receipt by the Board of a complaint as provided for in present law. Effective August 1, 2018.
