Requests DOTD, the La. Workforce Commission, and the board of supervisors of LSU and
Southern University, the office of state police in the Dept. of Public Safety and Corrections,
a member of the Senate appointed by the president, and a member of the House of
Representatives appointed by the speaker to study jointly and make recommendations with
respect to identification and implementation of creative and alternative options to mitigate
or reduce traffic congestion in the Baton Rouge area.
Requires submission of a written report no later than March 1, 2019, to the Senate president,
the House speaker, and the chairmen of the Senate and House committees on transportation,
highways, and public works, committees on education, and committees on labor and
industrial relations.
