R.S. 37:2405(B)(15) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 9 ยง2405. Powers and duties of the board; limitation 10 * * * 11 B. The board may: 12 * * * 13 (15) Determine and collect, at the time of new licensure and licensure 14 renewal, a core set of data elements deemed necessary for the purpose of workforce 15 planning. The data elements shall be used to create and maintain a healthcare 16 workforce database. The board may enter into agreements with a private or public 17 entity to establish and maintain the database, perform data analysis, and prepare 18 reports concerning the physical therapy workforce. Proposed law provides that the data elements shall be used to create and maintain a healthcare workforce database. Proposed law authorizes the board to enter into agreements with private or public entities to establish and maintain the database. Proposed law requires the board to promulgate rules to perform duties pursuant to proposed law.
