ENROLLED ACT No. 32 2019 Regular Session HOUSE BILL NO. 49 BY REPRESENTATIVE WHITE 1 AN ACT 2 To authorize the secretary of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections to designate 3 and name the education building at the B.B. "Sixty" Rayburn Correctional Center in 4 Angie, Louisiana, as the Deborah "Andi" Cook Memorial Education Building; to 5 provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters. 6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. The secretary of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections may 8 designate and name the education building at the B.B. "Sixty" Rayburn Correctional Center 9 in Angie, Louisiana, as the "Deborah "Andi" Cook Memorial Education Building" in honor 10 of former education coordinator Deborah "Andi" Cook. 11 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not 12 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature 13 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If 14 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become 15 effective on the day following such approval.
