Abstract: Provides that one member of the La. State Board of Dentistry shall be qualified as a
board-eligible or board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
Present law creates and provides for the membership of the La. State Board of Dentistry.
Proposed law requires that the appointee to a certain at-large seat on the board (At-Large Seat C) be
a licensed dentist who is also qualified as a board-eligible or board-certified oral and maxillofacial
surgeon. Otherwise, retains present law.
