COMMENDATIONS: Commends Jonathan Bergeron upon his many accomplishments as
a student
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Jonathan Bergeron for his many accomplishments as an extraordinary student.
3 WHEREAS, originally from Chauvin, Louisiana, Jonathan Bergeron is a senior at
4Nicholls State University majoring in chemistry; and
5 WHEREAS, Jonathan scored incredibly high on the MCAT; of U.S. test-takers, he
6was in the 100th percentile on the chemistry portion and in the 99th percentile overall; and
7 WHEREAS, his honors research thesis is titled, "Synthesis of Organo-Metallic
8Polyacenes"; in October 2018, Jonathan was recognized for his many academic accolades
9at a Board of Regents meeting; and
10 WHEREAS, the quality of Jonathan's efforts, his dedication, and his hard work bring
11tremendous pride and honor to his family and friends, the Nicholls State community, and the
12state of Louisiana.
13 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
14Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Jonathan Bergeron for his many
15accomplishments as an extraordinary student; does hereby recognize and record for posterity
16his record of academic excellence; and does hereby extend best wishes for continued success
17to Jonathan in his future.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
19to Jonathan Bergeron.
