HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 24
BY REPRESENTATIVE AMEDEE
A RESOLUTION
To commend Jonathan Bergeron for his many accomplishments as an extraordinary student.
WHEREAS, originally from Chauvin, Louisiana, Jonathan Bergeron is a senior at
Nicholls State University majoring in chemistry; and
WHEREAS, Jonathan scored incredibly high on the MCAT; of U.S. test-takers, he
was in the 100th percentile on the chemistry portion and in the 99th percentile overall; and
WHEREAS, his honors research thesis is titled, "Synthesis of Organo-Metallic
Polyacenes"; in October 2018, Jonathan was recognized for his many academic accolades
at a Board of Regents meeting; and
WHEREAS, the quality of Jonathan's efforts, his dedication, and his hard work bring
tremendous pride and honor to his family and friends, the Nicholls State community, and the
state of Louisiana.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Jonathan Bergeron for his many
accomplishments as an extraordinary student; does hereby recognize and record for posterity
his record of academic excellence; and does hereby extend best wishes for continued success
to Jonathan in his future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Jonathan Bergeron.
