HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 37

A RESOLUTION
To commend the St. Paul boys' soccer team on winning the 2019 Louisiana High School
Athletic Association Division I state championship.
WHEREAS, the St. Paul Wolves soccer team completed a sensational season when
it earned the title of 2019 Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division I state
champions after defeating the Jesuit Blue Jays by a score of three to zero in the thrilling
championship game; and
WHEREAS, this championship was the culmination of an unforgettable season,
which the Wolves finished with a record of 25-1-5; and
WHEREAS, the members of the St. Paul Wolves championship team are John Paul
Bourgeois, James Bradford, Timothy Doell, Michael Dufour, Tyler Guice, Axel Henderson,
Lucas Isolani, Hunter Kergosien, Matthew Lyon, Raleigh Martin, Ashton Mouton, Hale
Neitzschman, Caleb Nicotri, Daniel Nunez, CJ Paretti, Zachary Parkins, Philip Pearce, Jack
Pellegrini, Ty Priola, Trace Roberts, Ben Schwing, James Till, Conner Walmsley, and
Matthew Weimer; and
WHEREAS, the members of the team performed at the highest level of excellence
throughout the 2018-2019 season, and each of these great Wolves deserves recognition for
his vital contribution to the winning effort; and
WHEREAS, the amazing accomplishments of the team could not have been achieved
without the guidance and skills of coach Sean Moser as well as all of the other individuals
who have contributed to the success of this fine soccer program; and

WHEREAS, the team's outstanding 2018-2019 season upholds the glorious tradition
of the Wolves, and their families, friends, and fans recognize the immense pride and
distinguished honor that the team brings to the school and community.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the St. Paul Wolves boys' soccer team upon
winning the 2019 Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division I state championship
and does hereby extend best wishes to the players, coaches, and everyone involved with this
outstanding soccer program as they celebrate their exceptional season and prepare for
continued success in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Sean Moser.
