1 AN ACT
2 To provide relative to state highways; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 25 in
3 Washington Parish as the "Jerry Joe Rayborn Memorial Highway"; and to provide
4 for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the portion of Louisiana
7 Highway 25 from the town limits of Franklinton to the Mississippi state line in Washington
8 Parish is hereby designated as the "Jerry Joe Rayborn Memorial Highway".
9 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby directed
10 to erect and maintain appropriate signs of this designation provided local or private monies
11 are received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material,
12 fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of five
13 hundred fifty dollars per sign.
