1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 17:2048.51(C)(16) and (G)(3) and to enact R.S.
3 17:2048.51(C)(19) through (22) and (G)(8) through (12), relative to the Louisiana
4 Health Works Commission; to provide for membership of the commission and its
5 executive committee; and to provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 17:2048.51(C)(16) and (G)(3) are hereby amended and reenacted and
8 R.S. 17:2048.51(C)(19) through (22) and (G)(8) through (12), are hereby enacted to read as
9 follows:
10 ยง2048.51. Louisiana Health Works Commission; creation; membership;
11 compensation; staff and facilities; powers and duties; data collection
12 and reporting

14 C. The following shall serve as members of the Louisiana Health Works
15 Commission:

17 (16) The presiding officer of the Interagency Task Force on the Future of
18 Family Medicine president of the University of Louisiana System or his designee.

20 (19) The president of the Southern University System or his designee.
21 (20) The chancellor of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences
22 Center at New Orleans or his designee.
23 (21) The president of the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians or his
24 designee.
