2019 Regular Session ENROLLED SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 117 BY SENATOR COLOMB A RESOLUTION To commend Chris Schilling on the occasion of his fiftieth birthday on May 9, 2019. WHEREAS, Chris Schilling is an employee of PSA in the Senate Computer Center; and WHEREAS, after graduating from high school in 1987, Chris began working at the state capitol as a page with the Louisiana House of Representatives; and WHEREAS, Chris has worked at the state capitol since that time, with the exception of eighteen months when he was completing his education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge; and WHEREAS, Chris and his lovely wife, Cheryl, met while working as students for the House of Representatives, and they have two wonderful children, Claire and Connor; and WHEREAS, after thirty-two years of working in various jobs for the legislature, Chris still enjoys being at the capitol every day and interacting with the legislators and legislative staff. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend and congratulate Chris Schilling on the occasion of his fiftieth birthday on May 9, 2019, does hereby commemorate this most significant and unforgettable event, and does hereby extend to him sincere and heartfelt acclaim as he celebrates this extraordinary milestone in his life.
