HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 50

A RESOLUTION
To commend Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress on its fortieth anniversary.
WHEREAS, Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress was founded in 1980 in Monroe,
Louisiana, to serve the home furnishings needs of North Louisiana and South Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Sleepy Hollow sells mattresses, box springs, head boards, bed frames,
and bunk beds; the store constantly strives to provide its customers with all of their needs
by adapting to the shifts in trends in the home furnishing industry; and
WHEREAS, Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress has loyally served the citizens
of North Louisiana and provided jobs and business to the area for forty years; they are most
worthy of commendation.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress on
its fortieth anniversary and does hereby extend sincere hopes and wishes that Sleepy Hollow
continue to enjoy prosperity for many years to come.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Sleepy Hollow Furniture and Mattress.
