Abstract: Provides relative to the state medical assistance program known commonly as Medicaid.
Present law provides that its requirements relative to Medicaid managed care organizations shall not
apply to any entity contracted with the La. Department of Health to provide fiscal intermediary
services in processing healthcare provider claims.
Proposed law retains present law and makes technical changes.
