ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:  Provides relative to the delivery of alcoholic beverages
1	AN ACT
2To amend and reenact R.S. 26:308(C)(2), relative to the delivery of alcoholic beverages; to
3 include high alcoholic content beverages to beverages offered for delivery; and to
4 provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 26:308(C)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 
7 ยง308.  Alcoholic beverages delivery agreements; requirements; limitations

9	C.  An alcoholic beverage delivery agreement between a retail dealer and a
10 third party shall require all of the following:

12	(2)  Only alcoholic beverages of high and low alcoholic content, beer,
13 sparkling wine as defined in R.S. 26:2, and still wine as defined in R.S. 26:2 are
14 offered for delivery.

Abstract:  Adds high level alcoholic content beverages to alcoholic beverages offered for
delivery.
Present law provides that only alcoholic beverages of low alcoholic content, beer, sparkling
wine as defined in R.S. 26:2(19), and still wine as defined in R.S. 26:2(20) are offered for
delivery.
Proposed law retains present law and adds high alcoholic content beverages to beverages
offered for delivery.
