1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 33:9091.7(D)(1)(c), relative to the Lakeshore Crime Prevention
3 District; to provide relative to the governing board of the district; to provide relative
4 to the membership of the board; and to provide for related matters.
5 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published
6 as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of
7 Louisiana.
8 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
9 Section 1. R.S. 33:9091.7(D)(1)(c) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as
10 follows:
11 ยง9091.7. Lakeshore Crime Prevention District

13 D. Governance. (1) The district shall be governed by a board of
14 commissioners consisting of nine members as follows:

16 (c) The assessor for the second municipal district board of the Lakeshore
17 Property Owners Association shall appoint one member.

19 Section 2. On the effective date of this Act, the term of office of the member
20 appointed by the assessor for the second municipal district shall terminate; however, such

1 member shall continue to serve until a new member is appointed pursuant to R.S.
2 33:9091.7(D)(1)(a) as amended by this Act.
