R.S. 13:711(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 8 ยง711. Nineteenth Judicial District Court; commissioners 9 A.(1) The offices of commissioner of the Nineteenth Judicial District Court 10 are hereby created. Present law provides that the 19th JDC has two commissioners who are appointed to such offices designated as Section A and Section B. Proposed law retains present law and adds a commissioner to the 19th JDC who are appointed to such offices designated as Section A, Section B, and Section C. Proposed law provides that the subject matter of the commissioner of Section C is limited to pretrial criminal matters, including but not limited to bail, warrants, and pleas.
