HIGHWAYS: Redesignates a portion of Louisiana Highway 758 in St. Landry, Louisiana,
as the "Faquetaique Highway"
1 AN ACT
2To redesignate a portion of Louisiana Highway 758 in St. Landry, Louisiana, as the
3 "Faquetaique Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 758 from its intersection with United
6States Highway 190 in St. Landry, Louisiana, shall be known and hereby redesignated as the
7"Faquetaique Highway".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation. Private
10monies shall be provided to the Department of Transportation and Development equal to the
11department's actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each
12sign, not to exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to erect and maintain
appropriate signage reflecting the highway designation. Specifies that private monies will
be provided to DOTD equal to its actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and
installing each sign, not to exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
