DENTISTRY: Provides relative to waiver of certain dental licensing requirements
during a declared state of emergency
DIGEST
Present law provides that a requirement for an applicant who has successfully completed any
national, regional, or independent third-party clinical dental licensing examination approved
by the board shall include procedures performed on human subjects.
Proposed law retains present law and adds that in accordance with Proclamation Number 58-
JBE-2020, the use of human subjects to test an applicant's clinical competency may be
waived or modified.
