1	AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 3:3403(A)(2), relative to the Louisiana Agricultural
3 Commodities Commission; to provide for changes to the membership of the
4 commission; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 3:3403(A)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 
7 ยง3403. Louisiana Agricultural Commodities Commission; creation; membership;
8	terms; panels of nominees; filling of vacancies; oaths of office; per
9	diem; quorum; domicile; meetings; successor to State Warehouse
10	Commission
11	A. The Louisiana Agricultural Commodities Commission is hereby created
12 within the Department of Agriculture and Forestry and shall consist of ten members,
13 nine to be appointed by the commissioner as follows:

15	(2) One producer appointed from a list of three persons nominated by the
16 Louisiana Soybean Cotton and Grain Association.

1 Section 2.  This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
2 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
3 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If
4 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
5 effective on the day following such approval.
