SENATE BILL NO. 29

ROADS/HIGHWAYS.  Designates a portion of Louisiana Highway 38 inTangipahoa Parish
the "Deputy R.A. Kent Memorial Highway". (8/1/20)
1	AN ACT
2 To provide relative to state highways; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 38 in
3 Tangipahoa Parish as the "Deputy R.A. Kent Memorial Highway"; and to provide
4 for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  The portion of Louisiana Highway 38 from the Tangipahoa River to a
7 mile east of Louisiana Highway 1054, all in Tangipahoa Parish, is hereby designated as the
8 "Deputy R.A. Kent Memorial Highway". 
9 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby directed to
10 erect and maintain appropriate signs of this designation provided local or private monies are
11 received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material, fabrication,
12 mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of five hundred fifty
13 dollars per sign.

material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed $550 per
sign.
