SENATE BILL NO. 64

ROADS/HIGHWAYS.  Names the new I-12 bridge over the Tchefuncte River the Patricia
"Pat" Brister Memorial Bridge. (8/1/20)
1	AN ACT
2 To provide relative to state highways; to designate the bridge over the Tchefuncte River on
3 Interstate 12 in St. Tammany Parish as the "Patricia 'Pat' Brister Memorial Bridge";
4 and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the bridge over the
7 Tchefuncte River on Interstate 12 in St. Tammany Parish is hereby designated as the
8 "Patricia 'Pat' Brister Memorial Bridge".
9 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby directed to
10 erect and maintain appropriate signs of this designation provided local or private monies are
11 received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material, fabrication,
12 mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of five hundred fifty
13 dollars per sign.

fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed $550 per sign.
