INSURANCE POLICIES. Repeals provisions regulating dental referral plans. (8/1/20)
1 AN ACT
2 To repeal Subpart H of Part III of Chapter 4 of Title 22 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of
3 1950, comprised of R.S. 22:1161 through 1167, relative to dental referral plans; and
4 to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. Subpart H of Part III of Chapter 4 of Title 22 of the Louisiana Revised
7 Statutes of 1950 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

Present law provides for the regulation of dental referral plans including procedures for
registration, expiration and renewal of registration, rules, fees, and penalties.
Proposed law repeals all of the provisions regulating dental referral plans.
Effective August 1, 2020.
